Wood veneered or laminate panels don‘t have to be flat. There are many situations across a wide range of industries where curved or flowing lines are essential to create the required look.

At Spa, we have 30 years experience of manufacturing veneered panels and components and are able to produced curved panels that incorporate radii as tight as 75mm and to a length of up to 3m (in certain situations longer). Manufactured from multiple timber or mdf layers the panels can be finished in just about any wood veneer or laminate that is available in the world today; an overall veneer or laminate, a combination of veneers or veneers with inlays.

Finishes:

Any natural wood veneer that is readily available (for help in the veneer selection visit www.veneerselector.com) Any man made laminate that is generally commercially available (tighter radii will require post forming grade laminates).

Adhesive:

Whenever possible we use water based, water soluble adhesives. Once dry, water based adhesives produce an extremely rigid product which suffers minimal spring-back. The glue will not bleed through the surface of the substrate.

Movement in plywood:

Movement in plywood is normal due to changing weather conditions, and may effect the specified diameter or curve of a product. Movement is usually no greater than + or - 1.5% and should be taken into consideration with regard to installation. A more accurate estimate of movement can be supplied at the time of quoting if required.
